Buffalo Homecare is here for you

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact us all, the safety of our patients and staff remains our first priority.

To our caregivers, clients, and families:

We work together every day to provide proper care to those who need it most. Right now, we all need a little extra care. That’s why the Buffalo Homecare team has reviewed and implemented the most current government health and safety guidelines, so we can continue to serve you while keeping everyone healthy.

How we’re keeping our team safe:

  • Our caregivers are provided with proper personal protective equipment (PPE) to wear when needed. This includes gloves, masks, face shields, goggles, and gowns.

  • All team members must monitor themselves daily for COVID-19 symptoms. If anyone is feeling sick, we ask that they do not report to work that day. Whether it be a common cold or something more serious, we don’t want to risk the spread of any germs to our staff or patients.

  • We work directly with many patients who are at higher risk due to their age, underlying health conditions, or both. Because of this, we’ve always made sure to put their safety at the forefront of our operation. While this pandemic has brought to light new risk, we’ve always been prepared to keep our patients safe and will continue to put their health and safety first regardless of the circumstances.

How you can keep yourself and those around you healthy:

  • Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If you don’t have access to soap and water, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.

  • If possible, avoid close contact with anyone outside of your household. If you’re gathering with people you don’t live with, make sure to wear a mask and stay at least six feet apart, when possible.

  • Wear a mask in public—at the grocery store, your workplace, or anywhere else that poses a risk of virus spread.

  • If you don’t feel well, stay home. Even if you think it’s just a common cold, it’s better to limit risk and stay away from others.

The COVID-19 pandemic is a hard time for everyone. As we navigate this new normal and adapt to keep one another safe, know that Buffalo Homecare is here for you.
